Scope

This document specifies the type test requirements and test methods for newly manufactured indirect-access static DC energy meters (hereinafter referred to as "meters") used to measure DC energy in DC grids with accuracy grades of 0.2, 0.5, and 1.
Note 1: Indirect-access meters include two types: voltage and current indirect-access meters, and current indirect-access meters.
Note 2: The meters covered by this document are used to measure DC energy in the following fields or similar application areas: — In electric vehicle (EV) charging stations or EV charging infrastructure (such as when measuring on the DC side); — In information technology (IT) server clusters; — In low-voltage DC networks in residential or commercial areas (such as when measuring on the DC side); — In solar photovoltaic (PV) systems for measuring DC power generation; — In DC power supply points of public transportation networks (such as trolleybuses, etc.).
