GB/T 33708.1-2025 Electrictity metering equipment(DC)—Part 1:General requirements
Basic Information
Scope
This document specifies the general requirements and relevant tests for DC power measurement equipment (hereinafter referred to as "meters"), including functional requirements, mechanical requirements, electrical requirements, safety requirements, and marking requirements, as well as test methods and conditions for immunity to external influences such as electromagnetic and climatic environments.
Note 1: The specific accuracy requirements and other special requirements for meters of different accuracy grades are described in the special requirements section of GB/T 33708.
Note 2: Other general requirements, such as the energy metering methods and requirements for multi-energy and multi-tariff meters, and reliability, refer to the relevant sections of GB/T 17215.241–2025 or GB/T 17215.9.
This document applies to:
—— Meters used for measuring and controlling electric energy in electrical networks with a voltage not exceeding 1500 V;
Note 3: For meters indirectly connected via DC sensors (such as voltage dividers), if the rated input voltage of the sensor exceeds 1500 V, only the measurement device is considered a low-voltage measurement device, and the combined device consisting of the DC sensor and the measurement device does not belong to low-voltage measurement devices.
—— Meters in which all functional units (including add-on modules) are encapsulated in the same case or constitute a separate case, except for indicating displays;
—— Meters using integrated displays;
—— Meters using separate indicating displays or without indicating displays;
—— Meters installed in matching sockets or racks;
—— Meters providing additional functions beyond energy measurement, the requirements for which are outside the scope of this document.
This document also applies to the auxiliary input and output circuits, operating indicators, and test outputs of measurement equipment.
