Scope
This document specifies the symbols and explanations, test principles, sample design, test procedures, test result processing, and test reports related to the creep crack and creep fatigue crack propagation rate tests of metal materials.
This document is applicable to determining the creep crack initiation time and creep crack propagation rate of homogeneous metal materials and metal welded joints under static or quasi-static loads at a constant temperature; and determining the creep fatigue crack propagation rate of homogeneous metal materials under uniaxial cyclic loads at a constant temperature.
