Scope
This document describes a method for determining the thermal diffusion coefficient of plastic sheets in the thickness direction using laser flash method. This document is applicable to homogeneous solid plastics and composite materials with isotropic or orthotropic structures. This method is suitable for materials with a thermal diffusion coefficient of 1×10-7 m2s-1 to 1×10-4 m2s-1 in a gas or vacuum environment of -100 ℃ to 400 ℃. Note: For non-uniform samples, the measurement values may be affected by the thickness of the samples.
