Scope
This standard specifies the hygiene requirements, quality grading, weight grading, packaging product grading and identification, inspection methods, inspection rules, and labels for ordinary fresh eggs and fresh duck eggs.
This standard applies to the grading of ordinary fresh eggs and fresh duck eggs, and does not include the grading of poultry eggs such as quail eggs and free-range eggs.
