Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, product identification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and markings, packaging, transportation, and storage requirements for special-shaped polyester low-elasticity filament yarns.
This standard applies to glossy and semi-matte polyester low-elasticity filament yarns with special-shaped cross-sections such as triangular, flat, and cross-shaped, with a total linear density of 55 dtex to 1,111 dtex and a single filament linear density of 0.3 dtex to 5.6 dtex. Other types of special-shaped polyester low-elasticity filament yarns can be implemented with reference to this standard.
