GB 27790-2011 City gas pressure regulators
GB 27790-2011 City gas pressure regulators
Basic Information
Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, symbols, classification and marking, structure and materials, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, labeling, user manuals, and packaging, transportation, and storage of gas pressure regulators used in urban gas (artificial gas and natural gas, hereinafter the same) transmission and distribution systems.
This standard applies to pressure regulators with an import pressure not exceeding 4.0 MPa, an operating temperature range (the medium and body temperature range in which the pressure regulator components and additional devices can function normally) not exceeding -20 °C to 60 °C, and a lower limit not lower than the gas dew point temperature, with a nominal size not exceeding 300 mm for regulating outlet pressure.
Pressure regulators used in pipeline liquefied petroleum gas and liquefied petroleum gas mixed air transmission and distribution systems shall refer to this standard for implementation.
This standard does not apply to pressure stabilizers, bottled liquefied petroleum gas pressure regulators, and pressure regulators for dimethyl ether.
All pressure values not specified in this standard refer to gauge pressure, with the unit being MPa.
