Scope

This part of GB/T 27664 specifies the test methods and acceptance criteria for the electrical performance of Type A pulse-type analog and digital ultrasonic detectors.
This part is applicable to manual ultrasonic detectors with single or dual probes operating in a center frequency range of 0.5 MHz to 15 MHz.
Some of the test methods and acceptance criteria in this part are applicable to ultrasonic detectors in automatic detection systems.
This part is not applicable to ultrasonic detectors and ultrasonic thickness gauges operating in continuous wave mode.
