Scope
This standard specifies the system integration and model naming, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of load commutation soft starters (hereinafter referred to as the device). This standard applies to load commutation soft starters for three-phase AC synchronous motors with a rated input AC voltage of 6 kV to 10 kV and a rated input frequency of 50 Hz or 60 Hz.
