Scope
This part of GB/T 28799 specifies the terms, definitions, symbols and abbreviations, materials, product classification, selection of pipe series S, requirements, system applicability, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of heat-resistant polyethylene (PE-RT) pipe materials (hereinafter referred to as "pipe materials").
This part, together with other parts of GB/T 28799, is applicable to cold and hot water piping systems, including cold and hot water, drinking water and heating systems in civil and industrial buildings, hot spring piping systems, and centralized heating secondary piping systems, etc.
This part is applicable to PE-RT Type I and PE-RT Type II pipe materials.
This part's PE-RT Type I pipe materials are not suitable for hot spring piping systems and centralized heating secondary piping systems.
Note: It is the responsibility of the purchaser to select this product appropriately according to their specific application needs and in combination with relevant regulations, standards or norm requirements.
