Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, application design, installation, commissioning, trial operation, and acceptance of multi-zone air conditioning (heat pump) units (hereinafter referred to as multi-zone units).
This standard applies to multi-zone units using R22, R410A, and R407C refrigerants; it also applies to low-ambient-temperature air-source multi-zone units.
Engine-driven multi-zone units, water-source multi-zone units, and the aforementioned units using other refrigerants may be implemented as a reference.
