Scope
This standard specifies the classification, structure, materials, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking and packaging, transportation, and storage of composite plastic hoses (hereinafter referred to as "hoses") used in gas welding, cutting, and similar operations.
This standard applies to composite plastic hoses with a maximum working pressure not exceeding 2.0 MPa and intended for the following applications:
——Gas welding and cutting;
——Similar welding and cutting operations, particularly heating, brazing, and metal spraying;
——Arc welding under protective gas.
This standard does not apply to hoses used for transporting liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) or acetylene hoses with a working pressure exceeding 0.3 MPa.
