Basic Information
Scope
This part of GB/T 22199 specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, storage, and usage requirements for valve-regulated lead-acid batteries used in electric assisted bicycles. It applies to valve-regulated lead-acid batteries (hereinafter referred to as "batteries") and battery packs with a capacity of 28 Ah or less, used in electric bicycles, electric scooters, electric balance bikes, electric wheelchairs, and other vehicles where the battery serves as the main power source. The sulfuric acid electrolyte in the battery is non-flowing, adsorbed in the microporous structure between the electrodes or in colloidal form. This part does not apply to lead-acid batteries and battery packs used for starting, electric road vehicles, traction, and other purposes.
