Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, technical requirements, testing methods, and inspection rules for the safety of civilian lead-acid batteries, including their flame retardancy, explosion resistance, and acid resistance. This standard applies to the safety performance evaluation and certification of all types of civilian lead-acid batteries. It does not apply to the safety performance evaluation and certification of lead-acid batteries in the industrial field.
