Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification and marking, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marking, packaging, transportation, and storage requirements for recycled polyester monofilament (hereinafter referred to as recycled polyester monofilament).
This standard applies to round-section, untreated recycled polyester monofilament with a linear density of 16.0 dtex to 56.0 dtex, corresponding to a nominal diameter of 0.038 mm to 0.072 mm, and a linear density of 2,500 dtex to 13,000 dtex, corresponding to a nominal diameter of 0.480 mm to 1.096 mm. Other recycled polyester monofilaments may be used as reference.
