GB/T 43258.2-2023 Road vehicles—Diagnostic communication over Internet Protocol(DoIP)—Part 2:Transport protocol and network layer services
Basic Information
Scope
This document specifies the requirements for secure and non-secure diagnostic communication between the client DoIP entity and the server installed in the vehicle, which uses Internet Protocol (IP), Transmission Control Protocol (TCP), and User Datagram Protocol (UDP). The requirements include defining the vehicle gateway requirements (e.g., integration into the existing computer network) and test equipment requirements (e.g., detecting and establishing communication with the vehicle).
This document specifies the functions of detecting vehicles in the network and communicating with the vehicle gateway and its sub-modules in various vehicle states. These functions are divided into two categories: mandatory and optional.
This document specifies the following mandatory functions:
——Vehicle network integration (IP address assignment);
——Vehicle announcement and vehicle discovery;
——Acquiring basic vehicle status information (such as diagnostic power mode);
——Establishing a connection (e.g., attempting parallel communication), maintaining the connection, and controlling the vehicle gateway;
——Routing data in and out of the vehicle sub-modules;
——Error handling (e.g., physical network disconnection).
This document specifies the following optional functions:
——DoIP entity status monitoring;
——Transport Layer Security (TLS);
——DoIP entity firewall performance.
