Scope

This standard specifies the classification, size specifications, appearance quality, performance, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage requirements for rubber diaphragms used in urban gas regulators. This standard applies to rubber diaphragms used in urban gas regulators for artificial gas, natural gas, piped liquefied petroleum gas, and liquefied petroleum gas mixed air transmission and distribution systems (hereinafter referred to as diaphragms). This standard does not apply to rubber diaphragms used in bottled liquefied petroleum gas regulators and dimethyl ether regulators.
