Scope

This part of GB/T 20448 specifies a unified and reproducible evaluation method for the deformation of rollover protection structures (ROPS) of self-propelled forestry machinery under static loads, and also stipulates the performance requirements of the test samples under these loads. It can be applied to forestry machinery defined by ISO 6814, such as forwarders, harvesters, delimbing machines, combination machines, combined harvesters, and timber loaders, but it is not applicable to arm-type lifting machinery equipped with cabins on rotating worktables (for a discussion of this part, see ISO 80822).
