Scope

This standard specifies a unified and repeatable evaluation method for the bending characteristics of rollover protection structures (ROPS) of self-propelled forestry machinery under static loading, and stipulates the performance requirements for the test samples under this loading. It can be applied to forestry machinery defined in GB/T 19365, such as log loaders, timber skidders, log stackers, combination work machines, combined loggers, and loaders, but it cannot be applied to machines equipped with a cab on a rotating work platform and those with a lifting arm installed on the work platform. Note: The development of test methods and technical requirements for machines equipped with a cab on a rotating work platform and those with a lifting arm installed on the work platform is ongoing, and these machines will be included in the revised version of the international standard ISO 8082 in the future.
