Scope

This standard specifies the emission limits of air pollutants and the requirements for monitoring and supervision management of furniture manufacturing enterprises or production facilities.
This standard applies to the management of air pollutant emissions from existing furniture manufacturing enterprises or production facilities, as well as the environmental impact assessment of construction projects of furniture manufacturing enterprises or production facilities, the design of environmental protection facilities, the completion acceptance, and the management of air pollutant emissions after the project goes into operation.
This standard also applies to the management of air pollutant emissions from woodworking enterprises, such as the processing of building timber and wooden components, the manufacture of wooden doors and windows, staircases, flooring, wooden containers, cork products, and kitchen cabinets.
This standard applies to the emission of pollutants permitted by law. The management of the siting of new pollution sources and existing pollution sources within special protection areas shall be carried out in accordance with the relevant provisions of laws, regulations, and rules such as the Air Pollution Prevention and Control Law of the People's Republic of China, the Water Pollution Prevention and Control Law of the People's Republic of China, the Marine Environmental Protection Law of the People's Republic of China, the Solid Waste Pollution Prevention and Control Law of the People's Republic of China, the Environmental Impact Assessment Law of the People's Republic of China, the Shanghai Environmental Protection Regulations, and the Shanghai Air Pollution Prevention and Control Regulations.
