Scope
The purpose of this standard is to achieve reliable interchangeability between dental treatment units and handpieces. This standard specifies four types of standard connectors for connecting pneumatic dental handpieces and dental treatment unit hoses, among which, the dental treatment unit hose can provide water, air, light, and exhaust gas to the handpiece.
