Scope
This document specifies the system and project management of the power automation system (UAS) with communication between intelligent electronic devices (IEDs) in various equipment fields of substations, as well as related system requirements.
It includes the following aspects:
—— Engineering processes and their supporting tools;
—— The lifecycle of the entire system and its IEDs;
—— Quality assurance starting from the R&D phase until the UAS and its IEDs are decommissioned and retired.
This document also specifies the requirements for system and project management processes, as well as the requirements for specialized support tools used in engineering and testing.
This document applies to projects related to the power automation system (UAS) process, such as the substation automation system (SAS).
