Scope

This standard specifies the classification, designations, and models of gas filters, their structure and materials, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and quality certification documents, markings, packaging, transportation, and storage. This standard applies to gas filters used in gas transmission and distribution systems with a nominal pressure not exceeding 10.0 MPa, a nominal size not exceeding 600 mm, and an operating temperature range of -20 ℃ to 60 ℃. This standard does not apply to gas-liquid separators used in the production of oil and/or natural gas. Note: The gas referred to in this standard complies with the provisions of GB/T 13611.
