Scope

This document specifies the safety requirements for mobile drilling rigs used in construction, including a list of major hazards, safety requirements and/or protective measures, verification of safety requirements and/or protective measures, and usage information, etc.
This document, together with GB/T 43746.1, covers all major hazards related to the entire service life of mobile drilling rigs used in construction under both intended use and misuse conditions that can be reasonably anticipated by the manufacturer (see Chapter 4).
This document applies to the design, manufacture, and use of mobile drilling rigs for construction. "Mobile drilling rigs for construction" include different types of machines used for the following construction work:
—— Civil engineering;
—— Geotechnical engineering (including geological exploration, anchoring, soil nail reinforcement, micro-pile construction, foundation reinforcement, grouting, etc.);
—— Geothermal device installation;
—— Landfill drilling;
—— Foundation replacement, tunnel construction;
—— Construction of other above-ground and underground projects.
The requirements of this document, based on the general requirements specified in GB/T 43746.1, add or replace some requirements applicable to mobile drilling rigs used in construction.
