Scope

1.O.1 In order to ensure the safety of chemical equipment during the lifting process and to design and select lifting lugs reasonably, this standard is formulated. 1.0.2 This standard applies to the selection of materials, design, manufacture, inspection, and acceptance of lifting lugs for steel chemical equipment and its components during equipment lifting. 1.O.3 This standard specifies the classification, type code, dimensions, materials, technical requirements of lifting lugs used for lifting chemical equipment or chemical equipment components, as well as the verification and calculation of chemical equipment during lifting. 1.O.4 The selection of materials, design, manufacture, inspection, and acceptance of chemical equipment lifting lugs shall comply with this standard and the provisions of the current relevant national standards.
