Scope
This part of GB 150 specifies the steel grades and their standards that are allowed to be used for pressure-bearing components of pressure vessels, the additional technical requirements for steel, the application range (temperature and pressure) of steel, and the allowable stress.
This part applies to pressure vessels with a design temperature of -253 °C to 800 °C and a design pressure of no more than 35 MPa.
The scope of application of this part does not include: the scope of non-applicability specified in GB 150.1; containers in the refrigeration and papermaking industries, enamel-coated containers, and simple pressure vessels; and the scope specified in Article 1 of TSG R0004.
