Scope

This part of GB/T 15972 specifies the method and test procedures for hydrogen aging tests of optical fibers in a given hydrogen-containing environment. This part is mainly applicable to evaluating the hydrogen aging performance of non-dispersive-shifted single-mode fibers with extended B1.3 wavelength ranges specified in GB/T 15972.10-2008, and can also be used to evaluate the hydrogen aging performance of B4-class single-mode fibers.
