Scope
This document specifies the classification, requirements, inspection rules, marking, packaging, accompanying documents, transportation, and storage of marine exhaust boilers (hereinafter referred to as "boilers"), and describes the corresponding testing and inspection methods.
This document is applicable to the design, manufacture, and acceptance of steam boilers with a design pressure not exceeding 2.5 MPa and a working medium of water, as well as hot water boilers with a working medium of water and an outlet temperature not exceeding 120 °C.
