Scope
This standard specifies the welding materials, welding process evaluation, welding, weld inspection, post-welding heat treatment, and mechanical property tests of pressure-bearing components for marine auxiliary boilers and pressure vessels (hereinafter referred to as boilers and pressure vessels).
This standard applies to boilers with a design pressure not exceeding 2.5 MPa and a medium of water and saturated steam; and pressure vessels with a design pressure not exceeding 6.4 MPa and a medium of water or air.
