GB/T 14034.2-2023 Connections for hydraulic fluid power—Metallic tube connectors—Part 2:37° flared connectors

Scope

This document specifies the general design requirements, basic dimensions, and performance requirements for 37° flared pipe fittings applicable to metal pipes with an outer diameter of 6 mm to 50.8 mm, as well as the qualification test for such fittings. These fittings are intended for fluid transmission and general applications within the pressure and temperature ranges specified in this document.
The fittings specified in this document are suitable for transition connections between metal pipes or hose fittings and oil ports that comply with GB/T 2878.1, ISO 9974-1, ISO 1179-1, or ISO 11926-1 (for related hose fitting specifications, see GB/T 9065.5).
Note 1: For new application designs, the relevant requirements are given in Clause 9.6. Where the use of elastic seals is permitted, fittings designed in accordance with national standards and incorporating elastic seals are preferred.
Note 2: For use under conditions outside the specified pressure and temperature ranges, refer to Clause 5.5.
Note 3: Metric thread flared ends and metric metal pipes are preferred. For unified thread flared ends, both metric and inch pipes can be used (see Figure 8), simply by changing the bushing.
Note 4: These fittings operate at the working pressure specified in Table 1 and achieve full-flow connections through metal-to-metal sealing. However, many factors can affect the normal operating pressure of the system, so these values cannot be regarded as minimum guaranteed values. For each application, both the supplier and the customer need to conduct sufficient tests and review the results to ensure that the fittings meet the required performance levels.
