GB 21520-2023 Minimum allowable values of energy efficiency and energy efficiency grades for displays

Scope

This document specifies the energy efficiency limits, energy efficiency grades, and methods of energy efficiency calculation and testing for displays. This document applies to flat and curved displays with a screen diagonal size of not less than 40 cm, powered by AC or DC, and using LCD and OLED as display methods, for general and commercial use. This document also applies to LED integrated display terminals powered by AC or DC, using LED as the display method, with a pixel pitch of more than 0.30 mm and not more than 2.60 mm, and a maximum brightness of not more than 3,000 cd/m2. This document does not apply to: a) professional-use monitors for image evaluation in TV program shooting, production, and broadcasting; b) dual-screen displays; c) displays used in industrial equipment, medical equipment, film projection, virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), mixed reality (MR), and extended reality (XR), as well as LCD consoles (KVM/KMM) and other professional-use displays used solely as accessories; d) displays that only support battery-powered operation.
