This document describes the general methods for performance testing of heat exchangers and heat transfer components, including the testing system, measurement instruments, measurement methods, data processing methods, and testing report requirements.
This document is applicable to performance testing of liquid-liquid heat exchangers without phase change, steam-liquid heat exchangers with phase change during condensation, steam-liquid heat exchangers with phase change during boiling and evaporation, and steam-gas heat exchangers with phase change during condensation.
