Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, product identification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marking, packaging, transportation, and storage requirements for recycled polyester pre-oriented yarn (hereinafter referred to as recycled polyester pre-oriented yarn).
This standard applies to recycled polyester pre-oriented yarn with a linear density of 30 dtex to 1200 dtex, a single filament density of 0.5 dtex to 10.0 dtex, and circular, flat, three-leaf, and cross-sectional shapes. It is available in natural colors and is used for stretch and draw applications. Direct weaving or other types of recycled polyester pre-oriented yarn can be used as a reference for application.
