Scope
This standard specifies a high-performance liquid chromatography/tandem mass spectrometry method for the determination of the residues of eight nitroimidazole raw drugs and two metabolites in animal-derived foods. This standard is applicable to the determination of the residues of 4-nitroimidazole, iproniazole, 2-metronidazole, lornoxicam, metronidazole, chlorometronidazole, dimetridazole, and phenmetrazole, as well as their metabolites, hydroxy metronidazole (MNZOH, a metabolite of metronidazole) and hydroxymethyl metronidazole (HMMNI, a metabolite of 2-metronidazole and lornoxicam) in pork, chicken, beef, pork liver, chicken liver, beef liver, pork kidney, beef kidney, fish, milk powder, and honey.
