Scope
This standard specifies the classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking and user's manual, packaging, transportation, and storage requirements for ophthalmic needle clamps.
This standard applies to ophthalmic needle clamps (hereinafter referred to as needle clamps), which are used to clamp and suture suture needles during ophthalmic surgery to suture intraocular microvessels and soft tissues.
