GB/T 25684.1-2021 Earth-moving machinery—Safety—Part 1:General requirements

Scope

This document specifies the general safety requirements for earthmoving machinery defined in ISO 6165, which are common to two or more families of earthmoving machinery. It also applies to machine attachments and working devices primarily designed for excavating, loading, transporting, drilling, spreading, compacting, or digging soil, rock, and other materials. This document specifies all significant hazards, hazardous conditions, and hazardous events associated with earthmoving machinery when used for the manufacturer's specified purposes and under reasonably foreseeable misuse conditions (see Appendix A); and prescribes technical measures to eliminate or reduce the risks arising from significant hazards, hazardous conditions, or hazardous events during use, operation, and maintenance. This document maintains a relationship with other parts of GB/T 25684, which provide specific regulations for specific families of machines. These specific requirements take precedence over the requirements for machines in this document. For multi-functional machines, the requirements covering such machine functions and applications in all parts of GB/T 25684 apply. Example: For small loaders with trenching functions, the relevant requirements of GB/T 25684.1, GB/T 25684.3, and GB/T 25684.10 apply. ISO 17757 covers specific requirements related to automatic machines. This document does not apply to machines manufactured before the implementation of this document.
