GB 25684.1-2010 Earth-moving machinery—Safety—Part 1:General requirements
Basic Information
Scope
This part of GB 25684 specifies the general safety requirements for earthmoving machinery. The safety requirements in this part are common to two or more families of earthmoving machinery.
This part maintains a relationship with other parts of GB 25684. Other parts of GB 25684 provide specific provisions for specific families of machinery, and their specific requirements take precedence over the requirements for machinery in this part. For multi-functional machines, all parts of GB 25684 that cover the specific functions and applications of the machine should be used.
Example: For a small loader with trenching function, the relevant requirements of GB 25684.1, GB 25684.3, and GB 25684.10 should be used.
This part applies to earthmoving machinery as defined in GB/T 8498, as well as to machine attachments and derivative machines primarily designed for unloading, loading, moving, transporting, spreading soil, or leveling soil and rocks using working devices.
This part specifies all major hazards, dangerous states, or dangerous events associated with earthmoving machinery within this scope when used for the manufacturer's specified purposes and under foreseeable misuse conditions; and it prescribes technical measures to eliminate or reduce the risks caused by major hazards, dangerous states, or dangerous events during use, operation, and maintenance. When the main power source of the machine is electrical energy, this part does not address electrical hazards related to the main circuit and drives of the machine.
This part does not apply to machines manufactured before the implementation of this part.
