Scope

This standard specifies the mechanical properties, technical requirements, test methods, marking methods, and acceptance and packaging of ring groove rivets, sleeve rings, and riveted joints made from carbon steel or alloy steel when tested at an ambient temperature of 10℃ to 35℃. Note: The applicable use temperature of ring groove rivets produced according to this standard is -50℃ to +150℃. When the use temperature exceeds -50℃ to +150℃, users need to consult relevant parties. This standard applies to ring groove rivet joints for drawing rivet fastening connections. The ring groove rivet joints applicable to this standard include: -- Type I made from carbon steel or alloy steel with a performance grade of 5.8R and a nominal diameter of 5 mm to 10 mm; a performance grade of 8.8R and a nominal diameter of 12 mm to 35 mm; -- Type I made from alloy steel with a performance grade of 10.9R and a nominal diameter of 12 mm to 36 mm; -- Type II made from carbon steel or alloy steel with a nominal diameter of 5 mm to 20 mm.
