Scope

This standard specifies the structural type, product model, requirements, inspection and test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, and storage and transportation of butterfly quick-closing check valves (hereinafter referred to as check valves).
This standard applies to nominal sizes of DN300 to DN2000, with a nominal pressure of no more than PN10 for sizes above DN1000, and a nominal pressure of no more than PN16 for sizes below DN1000. The medium is water or other liquids with physical and chemical properties similar to water. The check valves are installed on the outlet pipes of pumps to prevent reverse flow of the medium and the occurrence of destructive water hammer during abnormal shutdown of the pump.
