Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, structural types, models, materials, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, and storage and transportation of butterfly quick-closing check valves (hereinafter referred to as check valves).
This standard applies to check valves with a nominal size of DN300 to DN2000, a nominal pressure of not more than PN16, and a medium of water with a water temperature of not more than 55°C, used to prevent destructive pump shutdown water hammer and control the reverse rotation speed of water pumps.
