Scope

This part of GB/T 19314 specifies the workshop conditions, the storage and processing of materials, and the manufacturing requirements for boats. This part applies to small boats with a hull length (LH) of no more than 24 m, as specified in ISO 8666.
This part does not address health and safety requirements.
Note: The fundamental reason for compiling this part of GB/T 19314 is that workshop conditions have a significant impact on the short- and long-term mechanical properties of yachts, and the component dimensions determined in accordance with GB/T 19314.5 require appropriate use of materials and manufacturing conditions.
