GB/T 19314.7-2019 Small craft—Hull construction and scantlings—Part 7:Scantling determination of multihulls
Basic Information
Scope
This part of GB/T 19314 specifies the determination of the design load, pressure, stress, and component dimensions for multi-hull vessels with a hull length of not more than 24 m, measured in accordance with GB/T 19916.
This part applies to fully loaded vessels with a displacement speed of not more than 50 knots. When assessing stability, freeboard, and buoyancy, all structural components, and other high-load areas (such as ballast keels, transverse watertight bulkheads, rudders, chain plates, etc.), it usually includes all components on the boat that are assumed to be watertight or weather-tight. This part only applies to newly built boats.
This part does not apply to hydrofoil boats, small-waterline surface-effect ships, and water-jet propulsion ships.
