Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, strength grade codes, dimensions, shapes, weights, and allowable deviations, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, quality certificates, etc. of threaded steel bars for prestressed concrete (also known as precision-rolled threaded steel bars, hereinafter referred to as steel bars). This standard applies to threaded steel bars for prestressed concrete produced by hot rolling, post-rolling residual heat treatment, or heat treatment processes.
