Scope
This part of GB/T 18707 specifies the laboratory test methods for passenger and crew seats on railway EMUs and trailers.
The three-axial linear vibration involved in this part ranges from 0.5 Hz to 50 Hz. This part stipulates the input test vibration method used for seat testing.
This part makes it possible to characterize how vibration is transmitted to passengers in the form of a frequency response function. However, this characterization is only fully effective if the human-seat system is considered to be sufficiently linear.
