Scope

This part of GB/T 25758 specifies the method of measuring the focal size of industrial X-ray systems with a tube voltage of up to 500 kV using the pinhole camera radiography method. The voltage used for measurement in this part is limited to 200 kV.
The image quality and resolution of X-ray images largely depend on the characteristics of the focal point, especially its size and two-dimensional intensity distribution.
For commercial X-ray tube types (for example, those used in advertising or trade), it is advisable to first consider the maximum values given in Appendix A.
