Scope

This part of GB/T 25758 specifies the measurement method for the focal size of industrial X-ray systems with a tube voltage of up to 500 kV. This part describes a method of directly mechanically scanning the focal point larger than 0.1 mm using a strictly collimated receiver.
The image quality and resolution of X-ray images largely depend on the characteristics of the focal point, especially its size and two-dimensional intensity distribution.
For the characteristics of commercial X-ray tubes (e.g., those used in advertising or trade), it is advisable to first consider the maximum values given in Appendix A.
