Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification and marking, requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marking, packaging, transportation and storage of rigid phenolic foam products used for insulation. This standard applies to rigid phenolic foam products used for insulation in buildings, equipment and pipelines (hereinafter referred to as "products"). For precautions when using the products, please refer to Appendix A.
