Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification and marking, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of rigid phenolic foam products for insulation (hereinafter referred to as "products"). This standard applies to rigid phenolic foam products for insulation of pipes and walls. For precautions when using the products, please refer to Appendix A.
