Scope
This standard specifies the classification and marking, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of non-metallic gaskets (hereinafter referred to as gaskets) for marine flanges in accordance with GB/T 2501—2010, CB/T 4196—2011, and JIS B 2220:2012 for flange connections.
This standard applies to the design, manufacture, and acceptance of gaskets for flange connections in ship piping systems and their accessories.
