Scope

This part of "Explosive Environments" stipulates the special requirements for the structure and testing of electrical equipment in explosive gas environments protected by a positive pressure enclosure "p", and specifies the requirements for positive pressure enclosures that contain limited release of flammable substances.
This part supplements and amends the general requirements of GB 3836.1. When the requirements in this part conflict with those in GB 3836.1, the requirements in this part shall prevail.
